Our Riverside Garden Project

Our garden embodies all that St Ethelwold’s offers - sanctuary, beauty, peace. It is a place to restore, as well as to enjoy connections with others. However, without essential attention to the river wall the river end of the garden is ultimately at risk of collapse. When we are able to do these essential repairs we hope to significantly enhance the riverside experience with better views and to increase accessibility and seating.

We need to raise in the region of £150k and are seeking financial support from grant funding bodies and local businesses.

We have been given a generous donation in memory of a Mindfulness Meditation group member who loved the garden - this has given us the idea that others may wish to donate in memory, or in thanksgiving or in celebration. We welcome any such donations and have a book for dedications in our hallway.
